DS 86 is a high end modular system with powerful output capabilities.
Its compact, user-friendly design makes this the ideal choice for office
or mailroom, with flexible options to suit individual requirements. Able
to expand up to six feed stations, including custom built
configurations, DS 86 can adapt to ongoing changes in application,
evolving with the customer's business.
Processing up to 4,300 items per hour, DS 86 is aimed at volumes of up
to 80,000 per month.
DS 86 System Expansion
• DS 86 can be built up to 6 x Feed Stations.
• This is achieved in blocks of 2, using 2 Feeder Packs.
• 2 Feeder Packs are available in 4 x different configurations:
Auto/Auto, Auto/Spec, Spec/Spec, Spec/Auto.
• In the case of a 2-Stn System, the extra feeders would be added below
the existing Feeders to retain Daily Mail function on upper Feeder.
• With 4-stn Systems, extra feeders are usually sandwiched between
existing top and bottom sections.
DS 86 Maxifeeder Option
• The DS 86 MaxiFeeder is a high capacity module for volume
applications.
• Holds up to 1,200 A4 sheets (80gsm) or 320 BRE's /Inserts.
• Also ideal for processing booklets up to 2mm thickness.
• Can be linked to other feeders for added convenience.
Powerstacker & Side Exit
• DS 86 incorporates 2 x fully integrated exits as standard with all
configurations, offering a combined maximum output facility for 1000
filled envelopes (500 in each exit).
• Exits also run on from one another, to allow for maximum continuity
during production, so when the PowerStacker is full the Side Exit takes
over.
• Franked & non-franked applications can run together with DS 86. Using
OMR marks, the system can easily decipher which exit to use, sending
non- franked envelopes into the PowerStacker and the rest into the Side
Exit for in-line franking.
DS 86 OMR Option
• Intelligent, secure processing for complete mailing peace of mind.
• Marks represent a series of simple commands which instruct the
system.
• No need for pre-sorting - system deciphers 1st and last page in set,
folding and inserting as required.
• Document sets can contain variable numbers of pages and enclosures
can be selectively added to suit.
